Bethany grew these hot peppers in her garden a couple of years ago. I tried growing some this year but my "eight inch" peppers turned out to be about an inch and a half long. (That's a lot of hottness packed into one little package! ) It's green chile season in New Mexico. If I close my eyes and breathe deep, I can just about smell those chile peppers roasting. Mmmmm... You guys got me hooked too. So, what will it be, red or green?

Oo..Peppers...spicy is nicy :P Now you've got me in the mood for green chili...mmmm...we are starting to get the first smells in the air...It will increase soon. Oh how nice. Albuquerque has the best scent in the world. :D
ReplyDeleteGREEN...of course...but we have to settle for red chile until we get to New Mexico...I was talking to Mike earlier and he said he will get many sacks of green and freeze them for when we arrive...mmmm...green chile stew....roasting green chiles...chile rellenos...mmmmmooooooooooooI can't stand it...shhhh though if LeeAnne sees the photo of these little red chiles she will try to scrape them off the page...she is crazy about chile...the hotter the better...mmmmGreeeeeeeen Chile...ooo ahhh...I miss them...oh oh...I miss y'all down there in New Mexico also...and wishing Kim the best ...wish I was there...Love you Yogramanita
